VaNoSol® is a single-component, silane-based, cold-applied waterproofing coating developed for flat roofs, balconies, and roofing details where traditional solvent-based systems are not suitable.

The formulation is 100% solids, solvent-free, low odour, and isocyanate-free, making it particularly well suited to refurbishment projects and use on occupied buildings.

VaNoSol® is supplied through Membrane Market as a limited pre-trade release, providing early access for experienced installers ahead of full commercial rollout.

Product overview

VaNoSol® offers a practical alternative to conventional PU and PMMA coatings where reduced odour, simplified site logistics, and improved health and safety are required. The silane-based chemistry delivers strong adhesion and flexibility while remaining self-terminating and, in many cases, primer-free depending on substrate condition.

The low-VOC, solvent-free formulation reduces fire risk and ventilation requirements during application, supporting use on live buildings such as schools, healthcare facilities, and commercial refurbishments.

Application summary

VaNoSol® is applied in two coats by roller, brush, or airless spray. For enhanced durability and crack-bridging performance, reinforcement matting should be embedded into the first coat, particularly at joints, cracks, corners, and penetrations.

Typical coverage is approximately 1.1–1.3 L/m², subject to substrate condition. Recoating times will vary depending on ambient temperature and humidity.

Batch information

This limited batch of VaNoSol® has a 12-month shelf life and was manufactured in March 2025. It is supplied at a reduced price due to remaining shelf life and is intended for immediate-use projects. Full commercial release batches will be supplied with full shelf life and system support.
