Vanquish 2K Metal Primer is a high-performance two-component epoxy-PVB metal etch primer designed to prepare steel and non-ferrous metal substrates prior to the application of liquid waterproofing systems.

Formulated to promote exceptional adhesion, the primer helps maximise the long-term performance and durability of liquid-applied roofing and waterproofing solutions.

 Suitable for use on galvanised steel, aluminium, copper, brass, nickel, lead and carbon steel, it provides a reliable foundation for refurbishment and detailing applications.

Mix Ratio: 3:1 by volume

All substrates must be clean, dry and free from contamination before application. Galvanised steel, aluminium and other non-ferrous metals should be thoroughly degreased and lightly abraded where required to provide a suitable key. Carbon steel should be thoroughly degreased and prepared before priming.

We recommend using VaNoSol® Cleaner.

2K Metal Primer is particularly suited to metal cladding, metal details, pipe penetrations and localised repair works where liquid waterproofing systems are being integrated into existing metal elements.

Compatible with polyurethane waterproofing systems, it forms a critical part of a complete liquid waterproofing specification when used alongside Vanquish Fibre PU.
